Jaime Hanks joined the CHILDREN AT RISK staff in 2008 and has served in various capacities during her time at CHILDREN AT RISK including Director of Strategic Partnerships and Deputy Director. She is currently the Managing Director of North Texas focusing on increasing the organization’s impact in the North Texas area through research, community education, innovative partnerships, and advocacy. Before coming to CHILDREN AT RISK, she worked in the development arena and for various non-profits, including United Ways of Texas, Admission Control (through AmeriCorp Vista), and St. Edward’s University – Advancement for several years. She graduated from St. Edward’s University with a B.A. in International Relations focusing on Latin America and a minor in Spanish. She has lived in Spain, Costa Rica, Austin and Houston, and is happy to return home to Dallas where she grew up.
