ACHIEVING ACADEMIC SUCCESS IN TEXAS

A series of three new statewide studies from CHILDREN AT RISK shows that Texas gets big returns when it invests in quality early childhood. Quality Pre-K helps prepare students for success in elementary school.Texas can also get more from its current investments in early childhood programs through enhanced collaboration across the state and across a maze of state agencies. Please join us for a quick and succinct Policy Briefing on all things early childhood. Attendees will also learn about proposed legislation in 2017 to  further improve the quality of early childhood education in Texas. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from school professionals, researchers, and policy experts on the opportunities we have to improve the state of education in Texas.
