Avenue CDC

Avenue CDC is offering Disaster Recovery Counseling and assistance with FEMA registrations at our Home Ownership Center. They are also providing mobile outreach efforts for this purpose, please call if you would like to partner with an outreach effort. They will soon begin offering workshops called Pathways to Recovery for both renters and home owners, which can also be mobile. They are providing volunteer trainings and working with different legal service organizations. Avenue CDC has a foreclosure counselor on-site and ready to assist. They are accelerating affordable single-family home developments and looking to expand their reach in order to meet the tremendous need for home repairs.

Avenue’s Home Ownership is staffed with Disaster Recovery Counselors who are helping with FEMA intake, FEAM follow-up and equipping flood victims with the tools to preserve their home through this time of crisis. They will be providing workshops for home owners and renters called “Pathways to Recovery” that will help them along the long journey of recovery. ┬áBoth their counseling services and workshops can be mobile and they are interested in partnering with “case management” providers, on the “home preservation” side of recovery.
