Early Childhood Education Rally Day

Child care small businesses have been pushed to the brink, and Texas families and businesses are feeling it. Over 20% of child care providers in the state closed from March 2020-September 2021. CHILDREN AT RISK (C@R) along with families, child care providers, business communities, nonprofit organizations and other key stakeholders will join together to highlight the importance of access to quality affordable child care to working families and the Texas Economy. Legislators along with community leaders will hold a rally and press conference on the South Steps of the Capitol.

This event is being cohosted with Council for a Strong America, Early Matters, Success By 6 Coalition, Ready Nation, United Way of Greater Austin, the North Texas Early Education Alliance, the Austin/Travis County 2-Gen Coalition, Texans Care for Children, and others!
