DESCRIPTION:Each fall\, CHILDREN AT RISK brings early childhood leaders and stakeholders together for community-centered conversations in 12 major Texas cities to exchange insights\, examine regional experiences\, and envision a stronger future for child care across Texas. This year\, C@R experts will dive into statewide policy developments\, including the Texas Sunset Advisory Commission review process\, the Governor’s Task Force on Early Childhood Education and Care\, and community-informed priorities for the 90th Texas Legislature beginning in January 2027. Participants will also explore the latest research on Child Care Deserts\, including C@R’s newest “chronic desert” measure\, as well as local investments in child care quality. \nJoin CHILDREN AT RISK’S Early Education team on Wednesday\, November 4\, 2026 from 10:00 – 11:30 AM (CST) to provide local insight from Amarillo and help shape the future of children in Texas. \n			\n				REGISTER
