Journal of Applied Research on Children

Launched in the Fall of 2010, the Journal of Applied Research on Children: Informing Policy for Children at Risk (JARC) is an open access and peer-reviewed online journal published in the Fall and Spring. JARC serves to inform policy affecting children by providing applicable research to the public, child advocates, and policy-makers on timely children’s issues. This journal seeks to encourage academics to focus on the needs of children and make practical children-focused research available and accessible to the public for use and dissemination. The Journal is lead by co-Editors-in-Chief Angelo Giardino, M.D., Ph.D., and Robert Sanborn, Ed.D., Associate Editors Christopher Greeley, M.D., F.A.A.P. and Ruth SoRelle, M.P.H., and an editorial board comprised of senior-level academics from higher education institutions across Texas.
