For the fifth year, CHILDREN AT RISK and Co-Chairs Dr. Carolyn Farb, hc and Mary Jane Fortin, President & CEO of American General Life Companies will host its Annual Gala: An Evening with Michael McDonald! Join us for a fabulous evening of fine dining catered by Michael Cordúa and entertainment by singer and songwriter Michael McDonald for a very important cause—to end modern day slavery for children across Texas. There is an estimated 150,000 American children trafficked within the United States each year. Their innocent lives are lost to a world of forced labor or sexual exploitation.

All proceeds for this event will support CHILDREN AT RISK’s Center to End the Trafficking and Exploitation of Children.  The Center to End the Trafficking and Exploitation of Children is an important resource in Houston—the only one of its kind uniquely focused on ending domestic child trafficking in Texas.

We hope you will make the commitment to join us on March 26th, 2011. Pledge your voice and lend your support to help us save the lives of thousands of innocent children.  We are also privileged to have the support of individual philanthropists, corporations and foundations.
