CHILDREN AT RISK is proud to release the 8th annual School Rankings across the state of Texas. Our School Rankings strives to serve as an accessible guide for parents, educators, and community members on the performance of local schools and to spark important community dialogue on the quality of public education in Texas. This page will be updated throughout our local releases with peer lists, maps, charts, and graphs. Check in regularly or follow us on twitter for the latest materials.
There are two changes to the 2013 rankings methodology. We have assigned each school a letter grade (A-F) based on its comparative performance on our indicators. Also, we have added peer-to-peer rankings to allow easier comparison among schools with similar demographics, wealth level, and other factors. To see the full methodology, please click here.
