Preventing Exploitation of North Texas Children

Over 100,000 U.S. children are at risk for commercial sexual exploitation. Even more shocking, the average age of these children when they enter into prostitution is 13 years old, and, unless rescued, most will be dead within 6 to 7 years after they are trafficked.

During the 84th Legislative Session, CHILDREN AT RISK won several important battles to help eradicate human trafficking. Legislative accomplishments include the creation of a Human Trafficking Prevention Taskforce and a voluntary registry of state businesses committed to ending the commoditization of children in the commercial sex industry.

To support the anti-human trafficking movement, give $25 or more on September 17 between 6:00 am and midnight and your donations will be multiplied from a pool of $2 million of bonus funds and prizes!
