About Dominique Cook

Dominique is a Partnership and Research Americorps VISTA at CHILDREN AT RISK. She is a recent graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a major in Global Studies, focusing on Human Rights with a minor in Spanish. After completing her degree, Dominique worked for a non-profit organization called Super7Girls developing curriculum on Global issues as they relate to the community of girls in elementary and high school from under-represented and under-resourced neighborhoods in the city of Chicago. Dominique strives to make sure that children from underrepresented and under-resourced communities have access to an adequate education.
