The BigTent Conference is nearly a month away … will you be joining us?

There has been a lot of buzz about this event–one of the largest conferences focused on children to come to our city–but there may remain some confusion as to what IS the BigTent.

In short, the BigTent Conference will convene people from across the nation that care about schools and children–educators, non-profit leaders, public officials, youth, and so on–under one “big tent”.  Through a jam-packed schedule of engaging sessions, prominent speakers, and fun activities, the BigTent Conference aims to foster connections between the many groups and individuals who have a stake in child well-being.  More on the conference, in their own words, is available here.

But, what’s CHILDREN AT RISK’s role? As a convening partner of the BigTent Conference, CHILDREN AT RISK is participating in the leadership committee and hosting THREE sessions at the conference.  We hope you can come check us out!
