Thanks to the generous support of the Texas Bar Foundation, CHILDREN AT RISK is pleased to announce the release of its latest publication, The Sex Trafficking Marketplace: Addressing Demand through Legislation and Tactics. In order to better understand the sex trafficking market, the book provides an in-depth look at its components: suppliers, the victim supply, and the purchasers of victims.  Also included is an overview of federal and Texas anti-trafficking laws and how these laws address demand within their texts.  For the first time, data on buyer arrests in Texas has also been and collected and analyzed, providing valuable information on who is buying sex and how law enforcement jurisdictions are addressing demand.
