The purpose of CHILDREN AT RISK’s Global Learning Tours is to offer an immersive educational experience that allows participants to explore and understand the critical issues affecting child health, education, and welfare on an international scale. Through travel to selected regions, we connect with local experts, program leaders, and community advocates who guide us in understanding their unique approaches to child welfare, including the structures and challenges they face. This learning experience includes visits to schools, after-school programs, health clinics, and nonprofits focused on supporting children’s needs. Not only does this journey provide invaluable insights that can inspire solutions and strategies back in the U.S., but proceeds from these tours directly support CHILDREN AT RISK’s mission to improve the lives of children and families. By joining a Global Learning Tour, participants contribute to sustainable, impactful change, both globally and at home, as we continue working toward a future where every child has the resources and support, they need to thrive.
