Seeds of Change: How Are the Children? Annual Early Childhood Education Summit
CHILDREN AT RISK will convene a multi-sector conversation focused on the well-being of young children and the interconnected factors that shape their development. This year’s virtual summit will bring together experts to explore the many dimensions of early childhood, including access to high-quality child care, culturally informed supports for children with diverse needs, and the broader conditions that shape family’s mental and physical well-being, food security, and federal policy. Discussions will highlight how systems intersect while exploring solutions to ensure every young child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

Across the United States, young people who are disconnected from school or work face some of the highest risks for exploitation.
Join us on Thursday, July 16 at 10 AM CT for our Child Safety, Security & Opportunity Summit: Systems-Change for the Next Generation. This virtual summit will bring together invited experts and advocates to share data, insights, and practical solutions that help young people stay connected, supported, and safe. Experts will explore how workforce, foster care, juvenile justice, and healthcare systems can better support youth most at risk of disconnection and exploitation, and how communities can build stronger pathways to safety, stability, and opportunity.

Ahead of the 90th Texas Legislature, CHILDREN AT RISK will host a virtual summit to share key advocacy updates and opportunities shaping the next cycle of child focused policy. This conversation will highlight priority issues before the Texas Sunset Commission, outline emerging legislative pathways, and equip participants with a clear understanding of what is at stake for children and families. Experts will provide insight into the systems poised for change and the strategies that can advance a strong, data informed Children’s Agenda in the year ahead.
