Texas Latinas in Education Leadership Institute (TxLELI)

About TxLELI

The Texas Latinas in Education Leadership Institute (TxLELI) is an innovative and transformative leadership program dedicated to cultivating and empowering Latina educators to lead in schools, districts, and educational institutions across Texas.

Latinas are underrepresented in educational leadership roles despite their growing presence in the teaching profession. The TxLELI was established to bridge this gap by developing a pipeline of highly skilled Latina leaders equipped with the expertise, confidence, and professional networks necessary to take on transformative leadership positions.

About the Institute

TxLELI is a rigorous, 9-month leadership institute with a kick off retreat that seeks to empower and elevate Latina educators into leadership roles in PreK -12 and Post-Secondary Education. Participants will experience transformative learning, expand their professional network, and be equipped to lead.

TxLELI is the Leadership Institute of choice for Texas Latinas in the field of education who aspire to reach new heights in education leadership. We develop and empower Latinas in education to lead and advocate for transformative change in Texas schools. We remove obstacles and barriers, ensuring participants secure ambitious leadership roles and break ceilings in ECE-12 and Post-Secondary Education leadership, meeting the urgent workforce pipeline needs for leaders that reflect the rapidly growing diverse student population and communities of Texas.
