Avenue CDC - Harvey Housing Recovery
Avenue CDC is offering Disaster Recovery Counseling and assistance with FEMA registrations at our Home Ownership Center. Avenue will provide eligible affected homeowners a dedicated Housing Recovery Counselor to prepare a Recovery Plan and assist in accessing resources to facilitate the Recovery Plan including resources to meet existing basic needs, home repair and support with moving back home. They are providing volunteer trainings and working with different legal service organizations. Avenue CDC has a foreclosure counselor on-site and ready to assist. They are accelerating affordable single-family home developments and looking to expand their reach in order to meet the tremendous need for home repairs.
