“The State of Parent Education in Dallas County: Opportunities for the Future” (December 2014)

Parents play a vital role in their child’s life. CHILDREN AT RISK aims to ensure that parent child relationships are healthy and nurturing in several ways:

1. Expanding the availability of evidence-based parenting classes

2. Providing the go to resource for parents at www.smartparents.org, including a list of evidence-based parenting classes and an abundance of parenting resources

3. Reducing the negative stigma associated with parenting classes

This blog post is part 2 of 4 in a weekly series leading up to North Texas Giving Day. Stay tuned for more short emails each week until September 22 highlighting CHILDREN AT RISK’s work speaking out and driving change for children for more than 25 years.

Your support enables CHILDREN AT RISK to advocate successfully for public policy changes that improve the quality of life for Texas’ children. Give $25 or more on September 22 for your donation to be multiplied from a pool of $2.5 million of bonus funds and prizes!
