Registrants earn 6 hours of CPE credits and receive a copy of Patterns of Revision for a grade level of their choice.
In this interactive training, participants will explore strategies to help students revise with confidence, strengthen editing skills, and prepare for both Multiple Choice items and the Extended Constructed Response (ECR) on STAAR for grades 3–8. The morning session, led by Whitney LaRocca, Co-author of Patterns of Revision, introduces the Patterns of Revision process, while the afternoon session, guided by the Texas A+ Challenge coaching team, provides hands-on application to support teachers in embedding these strategies directly into their lesson plans for immediate classroom impact.
