C@R's General Newsletter

Each month, our team shares a monthly newsletter recapping our events for the past 30 days, and offers a look at our upcoming engagement opportunities.

Special Events

C@R proudly hosts regional special events each year that bring together philanthropic leaders, influential thinkers, and dedicated community partners #ForChildren. By subscribing to this list, you’ll be the first to receive invitations to our signature gatherings: the annual Stand Up for Children comedy event, the Accolades Luncheon, the Golf Classic, and our Global Learning Tours.

Each event offers a unique opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and support Texas children — all while enjoying exceptional food, inspiring conversation, and memorable experiences.

Learning Events

C@R hosts free, virtual learning events year-round to inform, inspire, and equip advocates #ForChildren. Subscribers to this list will be the first to know about upcoming webinars that share groundbreaking research, explore pressing policy issues, and spotlight diverse community perspectives from across Texas.

All events are held via Zoom Webinar — so you can join the conversation, learn from experts, and take action for children no matter where you are.

Early Childhood Education

Our Early Childhood team typically sends one newsletter each month, altering our audiences between our Statewide ECE Collaborative group and our Prenatal-to-Three group.

Recipients subscribed to these mailing lists can anticipate receiving news updates, advocacy opportunities, and invitations to join us for our annual Virtual Learning Event as well as our bi-annual Texas Tour.

K-12 Education

Our K-12 Education team is focused on improving education outcomes through research, policy advocacy, and hands-on coaching via our Texas A+ Challenge coaching team.

While this team doesn’t send regular newsletters (yet), we do share our milestone wins and upcoming events tailored to the interest of this group.

Immigration

Our Immigration team sends out a quarterly newsletter rounding up the most pressing updates impacting immigrant or mixed-status families, recently published research, and opportunities to meaningfully engage with our immigration advocacy. We also shine a spotlight on partners who are doing exemplary work in supporting immigrant or mixed status youth.

Safety & Opportunity

Our Safety & Opportunity team focuses exclusively on anti-trafficking efforts and support Texas’ Opportunity Youth & Young Adults.

While this team doesn’t send regular newsletters, we do share our milestone wins and upcoming events tailored to the interest of this group. Examples of this include our annual Anti-Human Trafficking Summit, hosted virtually via Zoom to share the latest research and policy updates impacting survivors.

Health
